01 Our kind of club

Community,
at your own pace.

It started in 2023 with a few people reading quietly together at Midnight Run Café. The idea was simple: enjoy the company of other readers without an assigned book or required discussion.

That first gathering grew into a community built around books, ideas, creativity, and conversations that help strangers feel less like strangers.

01

Come as you are

Arrive alone or with a friend. You never need to be outgoing, well-read, or ready with the perfect thing to say.

02

Choose your pace

Read, listen, talk, create, or simply enjoy the room. Participation is always optional.

03

Leave more connected

Events give us a reason to gather. The people, ideas, and unexpected conversations are what make each gathering matter.

A room full of stories

Quiet company.
Open conversation.

Some moments are spent inside a book. Others are spent talking about one. Both belong here.

05 Between gatherings

Stay in the margins.

The community keeps going after the chairs are stacked and the books go back into tote bags.

06 A note from Nour

Why I started The Margins Club.

I started The Margins Club because I wanted what I could not find: an accessible, low-pressure community for people who love books, ideas, and creativity, without asking everyone to participate in the same way.

Quiet Reading Night made room for people who wanted company without a traditional book club. I started Article Club because I wanted to explore new ideas with other curious people. Our Fable book club created a gentler way to read together, with space to share thoughts along the way and meet once at the end.

Each gathering comes from the same hope: that you can arrive as you are, follow your curiosity, and leave feeling a little more connected.

Wholeheartedly,Nour
